@hellsboy40 They are not French, they are Legionnaires, there is a big, big difference, the only thing the same between the 2 is the equipment.How dare you suggest a Legionnaire surrenders, a Legionnaire will die before he lays down his arms, that is what about being a Legionnaire is all about, and if I am out of bullets, I will charge at you with my bare hands with intentions to destroy you because it is what I have been trained to do.

it is difficult say what country has the best army usa sure it the army with the best tecnology ,they can use the best weapons .they have a lot money to spend in action , training , weapon reserch etc ...but about soldiers , men ...nothing is better than Légion Etrangère

They have never, and never will look down on US soldiers for they are great fighters and highly trained professionals, reliable and efficient.Politicians, from time to time, get in the way and arrogantly claim that one nation or another has better soldiers... But once on the frontline, French, Canadians, Americans, Australians, British... know who really are their brothers in arms and forget about this sort of stupid and useless contests.

They are tough soldiers. I am an American and have respect for them. I hate it when people slam the French warrior. They fought as well as could have been expected in 1940. In 1944 in Italy, they kicked ass. I just wish they would not look down on Americans. We have been protecting Western Europe for 60 years.

Real fighters, be they from UK, US, CAN and other country, who have worked with the French troops, know they are a reliable allie and all praise their successes, their determination and their courage. And the French Foreign Legion is amongst the best. Let the jealous, whose biggest battle is to open the fridge to get another beer, spit their venom hiding behind their computer screen.Thanks guys for what you do...

A l'idiot qui dit que les légionnaires mangent en mourant au combat face aux talibans ben je vais te dire un truc couille de loup,nous ont crève au combat avec honneur et fidélité en criant "vive la légion" et ce sans hésiter contrairement à toi surement américain ou autre chien chien qui préfère envoyer des tonnes de bombes sur tout ce qui existe et te planquer derrière tes avion, essaye de faire comme eux si tu le peux !LEGIO PATRIA NOSTRA
